2023 Cardinal Classic Golf Outing
The 2023 Cardinal Classic Golf Outing, presented by Mercy Health - St. Charles Hospital, was held on Saturday, August 12, at Eagle's Landing Golf Club in Oregon, Ohio. The event began with a 8:00 A.M. shotgun start.
In 2022 we had 19 teams, but grew to 28 this year! Golfers participated in raffles, 50/50 contests, and games during their round of golf. Many of our golfers elected to buy a Mulligan for their team or tossed some bags at corn hole hoping to move up to the next tee-box!
Congratulations to all of our raffle winners and 50/50 winner. We also want to congratulate Ryan Glass for winning both the longest drive and closest to the pin contest. A special congratulations to Mike Moore '69 for winning longest putt. Our second place team was led by captain Doug Brummett '77 with the assistance of Les Manley, Aaron Williams, and Zach Niehaus '08. A huge shout out to our first place team led by Ed Kolanko with the support of Kevin Ball, Tom Giles '85, and Tommy Giles.
With the generous support of our golfers, sponsors, and community partners we had a net income of $16,790 to benefit the students of Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School & Academy!
