Early College Pathways

NEW! EARLY COLLEGE PATHWAYS

Pick the path to your future at NO ADDITIONAL COST!

Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School & Academy is excited to announce a partnership with Mercy College of Ohio’s Medical Academy and in the fall of 2025, Owens Community College and The University of Toledo launched their paths. Together, we created a unique experience for private school students called Early College Pathways (ECP).

This program is exclusive to Cardinal Stritch high school students and is the only one of its kind available to a Catholic school in northwest Ohio!

The Early College Pathways (ECP) cohort program allows students to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously.

“Our goal is for our students to meet Ohio state credit standards and accumulate enough college credits to obtain an associate degree. Upon graduation, these cohort students will have the opportunity to transition directly into a bachelor’s program with two years of college credit already completed,” said Bill Berry, President and Head of School.

This rigorous program enables students to follow a specific pathway to earn their associate degree at no additional cost, alongside their high school diploma. The ECP has a designated coordinator to help ensure that students remain on track with state academic standards, GPA requirements, and credit accumulation.

Our Early College Pathways Program is designed to provide a seamless transition to college, giving students a head start on their higher education journey.

Benefits:
– Earn an associate degree while still in high school

– Gain exposure to college-level coursework
– Experience a smooth transition to higher education
