New Ohio Scholarship Expands to All Families!

Ohio Passes Universal School Choice Scholarship to Include All FamiliesSwith=ch
Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School & Academy is pleased at the passing of HB33, Ohio’s biennial budget that includes universal school choice for ALL families in Ohio! This legislation ensures that every family can choose the school that best meets their needs.With this approved expansion, Ohio became the nation’s leader in school choice.
 
The approval of the expansion of the EdChoice Scholarship
NOW ALLOWS ELIGIBILITY TO ALL Ohio students’ to receive a scholarship.

Students whose family’s household adjusted gross income is at or below 450% Federal Poverty Level (FPL) (approximately $140,400 per year, for a family of four) will be eligible for a scholarship of $6,165 for grades K-8 and $8,407 for grades 9-12. Students whose family’s household adjusted gross income is at 451% FPL or higher will receive a scholarship based on a sliding scale.
 
Once you have applied and been accepted by Cardinal Stritch, begin your state scholarship application here:
 
1) Complete the Scholarship Request Form: Complete one (separate) application for each eligible student
 
2) Return the completed, signed request form to Cardinal Stritch: Include the following with your application:
 
•Student’s Birth Certificate
•Proof of Residence (Utility bill (gas, water, electric) or Lease Agreement. Documentation must be in the parent/guardian’s name. Please visit the ODE website for other accepted forms of residency documentation.)
 
3) Create your Ohio ID Account and set up profile and complete income verification form: (In the top right-hand corner select LOGIN, select ALL OHER USERS, select CREATE ACCOUNT)

Cardinal Stritch offers financial aid to accepted students based on their family’s demonstrated need. In order to determine family contribution, Cardinal Stritch uses the analysis of FACTS  Grant and Aid Assessment. In addition, FACTS will require you to submit a complete copy of your previous year tax returns and current year W2 form. All required materials must be submitted to FACTS before the student can be considered by the Financial Aid Committee.
